Who is responsible

survivorthegame.com is run by the SURVIVOR team, which is responsible for the processing described here. For any question: contact@survivorthegame.com

Your account

When you sign up: your email address, your username and your password, which is never stored in plain text. Your avatar if you choose one. They identify you and run the game — the agreement you enter by creating an account.

Your games

The competitions you join, the clubs you pick and your results. Members of your competitions see your username, your avatar and your picks once the matchday locks: that is the game.

Notifications

If you turn reminders on, we store the subscription your browser hands us (a technical address and keys) and the browser’s name, in order to send them. Turn them off at any time from your profile.

Audience measurement

We count visits with GoatCounter, without cookies and without storing anything on your device. For each page viewed it receives the page address stripped of any identifier, the site you came from, the screen width, the browser and the languages it declares. Your IP address is used to infer the country and is not kept. Figures are aggregated: no one can follow an individual visit.

When you sign up, we also note where the visit came from (a search engine, an invitation link, a social network…) to learn which channels bring players. Only the team can see it.

On your device

Only what the site needs to work: your session, to keep you signed in, and the language you picked. No advertising cookie or tracker, hence no consent banner.

Service providers

Supabase hosts the database and the accounts, Hostinger hosts the site, GoatCounter measures the audience. Notifications go through your browser’s push service (Google, Apple, Mozilla…). Football results come from football-data.org, which receives no data about you.

How long we keep it

Your account and game data are kept as long as your account exists, and deleted on request. Audience statistics contain no personal data.

Your rights

You can access your data, correct it, have it deleted, get a copy of it or object to its processing. Write to us at contact@survivorthegame.com.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
